Does the TurnPilot work without a smartphone?
Yes. The smartphone is only needed for setup. In daily use, you control the volume directly on the TurnPilot.

Can I add more Sonos rooms later?
Yes. Go to the settings on the TurnPilot and restart the Wi-Fi settings there. The TurnPilot will then switch back to configuration mode, allowing you to add more Sonos rooms or speakers and adjust existing settings via your smartphone.

Can I operate the TurnPilot permanently with the USB-C cable?
Yes. The TurnPilot can be operated both via the integrated battery and permanently via USB-C.

Is the rotary control silent?
The TurnPilot was designed for high-quality operation, not only in terms of functionality but also haptics. The rotary motion is pleasantly damped, precise, and almost silent – without annoying clicking noises. This way, every volume adjustment feels calm, direct, and valuable.

Can multiple TurnPilot rotary controls be used with one Sonos system?
Yes. Each TurnPilot is separately integrated into your Wi-Fi and receives its own IP address. This allows multiple TurnPilot rotary controls to be used simultaneously in a Sonos system – for example, for different rooms or speaker groups.
