Variants

Which TurnPilot variant is right for you?

Depending on the application, you can choose the TurnPilot with a compact battery or a large battery. Both variants can be easily powered or charged via USB-C.
A battery can also be replaced later at any time; simply open the battery compartment and insert any "Lipo 3.7 V battery with JST 1.25 2P connector."

TurnPilot with 800 mAh Battery

Compact, inconspicuous, and wireless

The 800 mAh battery variant is the right choice if the TurnPilot is to be operated via USB-C or if it needs to be as small, light, and inconspicuous as possible without cables. Even if the TurnPilot is powered by a power bank, a larger built-in battery is not necessary.

With normal use for TV and audio control, the battery life is approximately 2 to 4 days, depending on brightness, dimming function, and usage behavior.

TurnPilot with 2000 mAh Battery

Maximum mobile battery life

The 2000 mAh battery variant is ideal if the TurnPilot is to be used mobile for an extended period – without a fixed cable and without an additional power bank.

The housing is adjusted accordingly for the larger battery. This makes the TurnPilot with a 2000 mAh battery about 9 mm higher than the more compact battery variant.

However, the large battery lasts approximately 7 to 14 days with normal use, depending on settings and usage behavior, before needing to be recharged.

Easy charging via USB-C

For charging or continuous operation, the TurnPilot is simply connected via USB-C to a USB power adapter, a power bank, or simply a smartphone.

Accessories such as USB-C cables and power adapters are available separately.

You can also easily retrofit the battery (Lipo 3.7 V with JST 1.25 2P connector) yourself: The adapter ring required for larger batteries is also available for free as a 3D print file.
